Kiko planting a tree to celebrate a child joining Kidopia

Every child plants a tree

One child. One tree. One growing forest.

For every child who enrols at Kidopia, we plant a tree in their honour. It's our way of celebrating their growth — and giving something back to the country they'll grow up in. Children visit, water and watch their tree over the years they're with us.

Why families choose us

Every child is different. That's their superpower.

Here's what parents tell us again and again about what Kidopia actually feels like.

A Truly Multicultural Community

Families from many cultures feel welcomed, respected and included. Children learn acceptance, kindness and curiosity through diverse friendships — and we celebrate different languages, traditions and cultures every single day.

A Culturally Safe Environment

Every family belongs. Every child is respected. Every culture is celebrated. Parents tell us they notice how welcoming and inclusive the centre feels the moment they walk through the door.

It Feels Like Home

The theme running through almost every review: warm, friendly, caring, personal. Children build genuine relationships with educators who know them by name. No corporate feeling — just genuine care.

Educators Who Truly Love Their Work

Warm greetings at the door, real conversations at pickup and educators who remember the small things about your child. Our team stays for years, so your child keeps familiar faces.

Meet the educators who will know your child by name

Our team greets every family at the door, remembers which toy your toddler is obsessed with this week, and tells you the small stories that made their day. That's the bit parents say they never expected.

What parents say about Kidopia

It feels like family

Great day care with great educators! My both kids can't stop talking about their educators and love going there. Lovely staff with warm and welcoming hearts.
Emmy's mum

My child runs inside every morning

The rooms are beautiful and calm, and the updates through the day mean I always know how my daughter is going. She runs in every morning.
Priya, Kidopia parent

We instantly felt welcome

We instantly felt welcome. Coming from a different cultural background, it mattered so much that our traditions were celebrated, not just tolerated.
The Nguyen family

Our child has grown so much

The school readiness program has been outstanding. Our son started big school confident, curious and completely ready.
Daniel & Sarah

The educators genuinely care

What sold us was the nature program. Our little one comes home muddy, happy and full of stories about the garden.
Mel, Hornsby

The educators genuinely care

The educators genuinely care. They noticed our daughter was shy and quietly built her confidence over a few weeks. We couldn't ask for more.

Questions parents ask us first

How do tours work?

Tours run every weekday and take about 30 minutes. Our centre director walks you through each room, introduces the educators your child would be with, and answers every question. Bring your child along — watching them settle in is the best part.

Can I receive the Child Care Subsidy?

Yes. Kidopia is an approved service, so eligible families can access the Australian Government Child Care Subsidy (CCS). We'll walk you through an estimate of your out-of-pocket fees on the tour.

What ages do you accept?

Children from 0 to 5 years, across Babies (0–2), Toddlers (2–3) and Preschool / Kindergarten (3–5), with long day care hours 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday.

How do educators support different cultures?

We learn key words in your home language, celebrate the festivals that matter to your family, share food and stories from our community, and make sure every child sees themselves reflected in the room.

How is Kidopia different?

We're small enough that every educator knows every child by name, and diverse enough that every family sees themselves here. Parents most often describe us as feeling like home rather than a centre.

Can I meet educators before enrolling?

Absolutely — that's the whole point of the tour. You'll meet the educators in your child's room and can ask them anything.

What should I bring on my tour?

Just yourselves. If you'd like a subsidy estimate, bring a rough idea of your family income and the days you'd need.
