Our Learning
Every Kidopia experience is planned against the Early Years Learning Framework — then handed back to the children to lead.

Curriculum

Stories, songs, mark-making and rich conversation build confident communicators.

Hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics experiences that foster creativity, inquiry, and problem-solving.

Engaging cooking activities that promote healthy eating habits, early numeracy and literacy skills, teamwork, and independence through real-life learning.

Children actively participate in planting, growing, harvesting, and caring for fruits, vegetables, and herbs, developing responsibility, sustainability awareness, and a connection to nature.

Engaging sensory experiences that promote exploration, regulation, cognitive development, and early scientific thinking.

Age-appropriate yoga, breathing exercises, and mindfulness practices that support emotional regulation, focus, wellbeing, and self-awareness.

Encouraging healthy eating habits, physical activity, and lifelong wellbeing.

Gardening, worm farming, Return and Earn recycling, composting, and environmental initiatives that nurture a love for the natural world.

Regular excursions, visits to local businesses, libraries, and community organisations to strengthen children's sense of belonging and real-world understanding.

Enriched learning opportunities led by educators and visiting specialists, providing children with hands-on, real-world experiences that extend their thinking and deepen their understanding.

Celebrating the diverse cultures of our families while embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives throughout the curriculum.

Daily music, percussion and dance build rhythm, memory and joyful expression.

Open-ended studio spaces where the process matters more than the product.

Children learn to name feelings, resolve conflict and care for one another.

A two-year program building independence, curiosity and confidence for big school.

How We Document Learning
Educators use EYLF Planning Cycle to observe, document, plan, and reflect on each child's learning to create meaningful experiences that support their growth and development.

Routines for babies are based on each child's individual needs, home routine, and developmental stage. Feeding, sleeping, nappy changing, and play times are responsive to each baby's cues rather than a fixed timetable. As a result, routines in the baby room may vary from the general room schedule to ensure each child receives personalised care that supports their wellbeing, comfort, and development. Families are consulted regularly to maintain consistency between home and the service, with routines reviewed and adjusted as children's needs change.
Nature Learning
Our garden, mud kitchen and native plantings give children real risk, real weather and real responsibility — the ingredients of resilience.

Come and see the rooms, meet the educators and watch your child's face light up. Tours run every weekday.
